I just found out that you will be my mentor. I am an ACCESS teacher assistant from Hincesti and I have just been introduced to the blending methodology of teaching. I wanted to ask you about how we can use this teaching method in the case that students don't have an internet connection at home.
Hello Margarita, I hope you enjoy your ACCESS classes and students. I am also glad you have the chance to be a participant in this training. I am sure it will help you a lot.I wish you good luck and let's try to use as much as possible everything we'll learn here. Concerning your question, I can tell you that when my students had to face the lack of the Internet connection, they used to come additionally at the American Corner and do their tasks. You can advise your students to do the same thing. I wish you good luck. Regards, Diana Retcu.
My name is Daria. I am the Access Teacher in Hincesti. I am glad to have you as my mentor and I am looking forward to start this course since the online tools and blogging are the areas I didn't take advantage a lot of. I do sincerely believe that Blending Learning Method is the component that should be introduced in the modern educational system. However, taking into account the high Internet addiction in our students, should we (teachers) tend to offer more and more space to the new technology and Internet into our lessons or we must try to "preserve" the traditional methodology (face to face) as the "cornerstone"? Have a nice day!
Dear Daria, Welcome to our ACCESS community. Truly speaking, I am missing it. These four years were difficult, being always busy, but at the same time they inspired, taught me how to adapt my knowledge and skills, to be a better teacher and make my students interested. I am also sure this course will give us many challenges, and they will make us better. To my opinion the new technology and traditional classes should take about 50% / 50% in a modern school. Let's enjoy this course together and learn more about new methodologies. Best regards, Diana Retcu.
