Discussion Forum Tutorial


Dear Access instructors, 

To get actively involved in the Discussion Forum, each of you will be responsible: 

a. once in 7 weeks on Wednesday to start a Conversation thread (discussion) on the instructive topic presented in the same week. 
You will have the role to coordinate and monitor the entire discussion, replying to comments the other participants will post as a response to your prompt/question. Your question should generate an interesting discussion among your colleagues, who will share their teaching experience with you. The  prompt should include  a general statement based on Assignment topic and a question you would like your colleagues to express their opinion.

Discussion Prompt sample: 
"Planning a lesson  involves the teacher’s skill in the selection of the material, the techniques or method or approaches to be employed, the activities to be taken up, and in getting the pupils involved in the successful completion of the lesson assignments. It is a complete preview of the difficulties likely to occur in the course of the lesson, of introducing new teaching approaches and strategies while using various updated technologies. What difficulties do you meet in planning a lesson/activity for Access classes, and what you usually do to overcome each of them? "

b. once in 7 weeks by Sunday to end up a Conversation thread, making general conclusion of the colleagues' shared opinions as answers to the moderator's prompt. 


c. each week by Saturday to reply to 3 comments of your colleagues posted as answers to the Moderator's prompt, in the form of  feedback.
